Hi, John!

six has its own front end in that rig (actually, the
first rf amp is seperate for each of the bands)...I'd
suspect a waffled FET.

I don't have the schematic in front of me, but if you
follow the input from the antenna jack, past the tx/rx
switching circuit, the front ends are the first
circuits that you find on the RX side. 

IIRC, the six-meter transistor has a different part #
than the others...
