Thanks,
I tried that, sorta, I moved to a frequency and called CQ until I made a
contact. Then someone else moved in calling CQ at s-9 and took the
frequency. I can't believe he didn't hear me, timing and all. I was
running s-9 at the time and no one else was that strong that I was talking
to.
I decided to give up on QRP for 6 until I get a more suitable antenna. I'll
build myself a loop and a beam, then I'll think about QRP on 6, right now
I'd rather have fun making contacts. It's a new band for me. This winter
I'll be operating another new band, 160 meters. Maybe later this year or by
next year, I'll also add 2 meters to the list.
Thanks for the information.
Buck
