MANY moons ago I decided to get on 6M at a temporary QTH and all I had
was a G5RV.

With a CE 10A driving a HB TX converter and a HB nuvistor converter into
a 2B I had no problem working just abouut anything I could hear. Power
was about 35W. No SWR meter, just played with the 6146 link coupling and
antenna cap until the loading looked good.

Those were the good old days before fussy SS foldback circuits!
