[50mhz] Question

Hi Keith:

I have a 7 element EF-706 at 75 feet and a home-brew 5 element at 30 feet. The
upper is not always better. The lower is much better for the sporadic E openings
to the south and west. When the F2 openings were common a couple years ago both
seemed about the same once the opening developed (the upper sometimes started
hearing before the lower). If I had the option of only one I would keep the lower
one and put a 30M yagi in place of the 6M upper one.

Good luck,
Charley W1TE in New England
