Come on John, This is getting tiresome.
Is this the one that Burghardt's was selling for $169?
Gee wiz John, you tell everyone you're getting only
one more HT for a lonnnnng time and ask for everyone's
opinions.  They take time to give thoughtful remarks. 
Then you pull switcheroos and change rigs over and
over as fast as Hillary Clinton changes hairstyles. 
What gives?

This just may be the VX5R package that you have been
looking for. It works great-both on transmit and
receive, I have just decided that I want to get back
on 23cm, so am need to sell this to get a Icom T81A. 
This VX5R comes with all of the standard
accessories-both antenna pieces, the charger, manual,
box, belt clip. PLUS it comes with a spare FNB-80LI
brand new LiON battery. This is the 1300mah version
which lasts longer than the stock battery. I will
also throw in a SMA to BNC connector. 
This HT was purchased used recently from an amateur
dealer, so it still has most of its 90 day warranty
left. It also has been modded for wideband TX/RX. It
will cover MARS and CAP, as well as a good deal above
and below those frequencies.
Now please understand that this HT is NOT in mint
condition. It has some scratches on its case, and
some paint has worn off in places. The case it very
tough, though-made out of steel. The display is fine,
and it works just fine. Just doesn't look mint. I am
asking $230 plus a few dollars for shipping.
