[50mhz] FT100D

Hi All:
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who owns and uses a Yaesu FT100D
on six meters, especially if it is a later model. I have seen some real
horror stories about the ones manufactured before year 2001 reading the
reviews from users on the AC6V website review section. I like the 
features it has especially for use on CW. I have heard that it has some
problems with use on FM all bands such as 2, 6, and 440. How do you like
it for mobile as far as ease of operating?
You can send to me off the reflector if you wish, not to clog the 
reflector with things that may not interest all.
