Hi Mike and All ,

If 4 yagi system is adequate or not depends on the space available . But from my
side
a well prepared 4 yagi system can work as well as a 6 and 8 yagi system . It
depends on
alot of factors mostly on how much dedication and effort is put into the system
. I have 72
Countires on 2 meters and have only been on for about 8 years , my 4 x 3wl Xpol
is working
quite well . I was able to Antartica on 2 meter which was a 2 yagi system and
300 watts .
I think I was one of the 16 stations you worked him .
So it is not correct to say that a " 4 yagi station considered a start and no
where near adequate for any serious eme work."
The rest of the world does not live in Texas .
