[50mhz] used 6 meter rigs

These items bring up a question.

Wouldn't it be better to purchase a used IC-706 or FT-100 for around
 $400-600, and have all the other bands and features, along with built-in
 100 watts? The original 706's, for example, can be had for the low end
 of this price range.
