Whoopee! Congratulations, Lance and Hal, on what I'm sure was
the first EME QSO on 50 MHz using JT44.

Lance, the "Freeze" feature is easy to use. When you have a
correctly synchronized reception period -- generally indicated by a
sharp spike in the red curve, a somewhat broader bump in the
blue curve, and some recognizable text in the message window,
just click with the mouse on the red spike. Thereafter, if you
have checked the "Freeze" box, the program will confine its
search for a synchronizable signal to frequencies around that
spot. You can change the frequency range with the Tol parameter.

I generally set "Sync" to 1, and on marginal detections (usually
ones with Sync=0 or 1) I use "Include" and Exclude" to try
including or removing them from the average. You have nearly
the full RX period to make up your mind whether to keep the
marginal record, or not.
