[222mhz] [Packrats] Old Negative conversion?

Or you could put a light and ground or very frosted diffusing glass
behind the negatives and shoot with a digital camera in close up or
macro mode or with a close up lens. Some cameras will do the negative
conversion internally, but I know GIMP (free software for Linux or
windoze) will make the conversion easily and allow any amount of other
photo manipulation.
