You missed his point.  :-)

He was talking about 2 meter ATV struggles with the 2 meter remote base 
crowd, and making a parable of sorts to make a point about dredging up 
things from the past that can't be changed.  It just seems like a better 
idea to concentrate on what can be fixed, and not lament about old woes.

IMHO, anyway.
