Let's get after the "Big Three" to start making and marketing radios for the 
1.25M band again. Yeasu and Kenwood include the other band on a couple of 
their handhelds, but only with 200mW TX.
There is a market. Look at the prices very old 220 radios are going for on 
eBay. The radios are actually appreciating over their initial offerings.  
They are also selling for more than new prices on other vhf or uhf 
monobanders.
Let's remind them there is a market they are missing.
