Kurt,

I don't know where you are getting information, but I think
you should spend some time reading the technical articles on
the polyphaser web site before doing anything. It doesn't
appear you have been getting good info.

It's pretty well known the rods won't do much, and the
downleads in parallel with the towers won't do anything at
all. It is a totally wasted effort to run a conductor 1/4
inch in diameter in parallel with one that is effectively a
foot in diameter.

The primary voltage drop is through impedance, and the tower
is already hundreds or thousands of times more effective
than the small cable you propose to add. I also hope you are
planning on a good ground.

If it were my system, I'd properly ground the towers and let
the towers go at that.   I'd bury the cable up to the house,
and use a proper bulkhead ground to NEC standards. I'd do a
proper equipment ground and power feed, unless I planned on
disconnecting from the antenna and the wall outlets.
