Dear Friends,
I prefer delta loop antenna for 160 Meters.
Measurements of my delta loop antenna for 160 Meters (and Contests):
1.005 / fo (Resonance Frequency) = A (feet)
A x 0.3048 = B (Meter)
For example:
1.005 / 1.830 kHz = 549 feet
549 x 0.3048 = 167.34 Meter
167.34 Meter / 3 = 55.78 Meter (Parallel to the ground)
3 Polls (The height of the poll = 11.50 Meter)
Balun ==> B / 4 x 0.66 = C (Meter)
For example:
167.34 / 4 x 0.66 = 27.62 Meter
Best regards from TAnatolia.
