[10m] AM and FM activity?

Hi Duane and the group.

I was wondering about that HTX-10 you have Duane (KF4ELJ, also Jay

AD5PE, K4HWK any others I missed). It has AM and FM capabilities that my
HTX-100 does not. What is activity like on the AM and FM modes? I had
considered purchasing an HTX-10 about a year ago when I was considering
a 10M mobile radio purchase but chose to find a used HTX-100 for it's CW
capability. I have a friend in California, Terry, WA6OBC, who has an
HTX-10 and he has made lots of contacts while barefoot mobile esp. to
Japan and the Pacific and all over the Western States. Do you run yours
mobile or as a base radio? Look forward to your reply or anyone else
