I did a search for "RX front-end saver circuit" and it turned up many
useful articles, some with schematic diagrams and parts lists, for good
RX protection circuits.

I have used the commercial KD9SV Front-end Saver for many years with
excellent results. It provides the additional function of buffering the
amp keying circuit to protect the rig from damage by amps that have high
voltage or current keying requirements. There is a homebrew version of
the KD9SV here:

You need only build the part you need, so you could leave off the amp
keying circuit part if your amp is of modern design (low voltage/current
keying).

Good luck with your project,

Gus Hansen
