[1000mp] FT-1000MP Tx No Output

    Hi Gary:

I have experienced this type of symptom with a FT1kD. In fact, my
1kD is down now due to unable to locate final xsistors. I believe
the 1kMP has same Final to LPF to VSWR ckt chain.

If any one of the LPF channels goes bad, it causes the Finals to be
damaged; damaged finals results in no output on any band or any
mode. In my case, I replaced all caps located within the 40m LPF
    channel ckt to effect repair.

If you have access to a RF signal generator, disconnect PA from the
LPF; inject a low level of RF voltage into LPF module; switch in one
channel, then the next, while monitoring for a signal output; IOW,
look for a damaged LPF channel, using low RF voltage level drive.
Replacing finals w/o locating and repairing a damaged LPF channel
will again cause damage to the finals. Catch-22!

    Good luck. es 73.
