[1000mp] Broken DSP Function

Our club recently acquired an MP that works fine except for the EDSP.  The volume drops drastically When the EDSP is engaged, even with both the noise reduction Contours and Filters in their OFF positions.  With audio gain cranked all the way up I can hear enough that it appears the various filters are working.  However, using any setting of the contours totally kills the audio nor do I notice no difference in any of the contour settings.
I have checked all the menu settings and they exactly match two other MPs I have that work fine.

I'm thinking it may be something to do with the transistor switches in the DSP circuit.
Any advice?
