Deric,
I have 100 watts out into the dummy load. When I engage the tuner, it is
sensing a high SWR and subsequently folding back power to about 15 watts.
All of this is through antenna port A which has the dummy load connected.
All of this testing is being done on a dummy load to eliminate a variable of
possible high swr.
Again, keep in mind that I do not even hear the roller inductor searching so
something is amiss with the tuner itself. Also, it never comes out of
transmit when I press TUNE.

Anthony,
You could have a very high swr on the antenna causing the tuner to keep
searching and not be able to make a suitable match. Make sure that when in
tune your are one the correct antenna coax port eg ant 1 or ant 2 and not
inadvertently transmitting into an open or unused antenna port. Also do you
have enough rf power output from the pa stage. The tuner has to sense rf
output before it can search to make a match to the antenna. Just trying to
eliminate the obvious berore declaring a problem with your auto-tuner.
