[1000mp] Tuner Unit

I have seen that and it doesn't really mean  much.     Your radio is trying 
to retune at that  frequency like it was the last time you were there.     
If  your auto tune says you are tuned you are tuned.

Let me  add a note about the problem.  I can activate the auto tuner.
Pressing  TUNE puts the radio into transmit, the WAIT light is illuminated.
However  it does not react at all.  It stays in transmit with the WAIT light
on  until I press TUNE again to subsequently turn it off.
