[1000mp] Tracking function

One advantage for a common tuning control for 2 receivers is for
diversity reception/transmission.
Maybe monitoring 2 different antennas or 2 identical antennas at least
10 wavelengths apart.
Maybe monitoring both a Vertical and horizontally polarized antenna,
simultaneously.

I have heard where others have added a switch contact in parallel with
the front panel LOCK switch
to achieve tuning both receivers with a common control knob.

Look to a search for SM5BSZ for his dual diversity receiver for the
lower lower HF bands.
His LINRAD software can use dual I and Q channels for both independent
antenna inputs.
Granted, most of his applications are EME, but the techniques are
useable on any ham band.
