[1000mp] Tracking function

Dear Stu  N0LEF:

"Tracking?"  The radio has two almost independent receivers so one can 
listen to DX station with one receiver while searching for his listening 
frequency with the other.  What is your goal with having both receivers 
"tracking?"

When in dual listening mode on my FT-1000MP I have to hold
the lock button to have both VFO's track each other. Is there any
way to make this function work without having to hold the lock
button down?
