[1000mp] RTTY problems

I have been using a HAL DXP38 and my FT1000MP and com port connecting
to CAT plug on back of FT1000MP and the RTTY connection on the 1000MP
to the DXP38. This has worked great before using write log program.
I can copy RTTY ok and the tuning eye on the DXP38 shows the signals. But
the write log program does not receive RTTY signals. The tuning eye on the
program is stuck and does not show rtty signals. I tried rebooting the program
and rebooting the computer. 
I wonder what has happened, any ideas?  Maybe some thing has happened in
the FT1000 program set up?  It has been several months since I tried RTTY
and it was ok then. I tried another rtty program and the same results.
