Dear Al W5ADF:
Thanks for the suggestion. Each piece of external coax has been
attached and detached and moved to another radio and then put back. Of
course, in the past, people have observed that the internal connection to
the back-of-the-transceiver coax connector wins no prizes. Examination and
possible re-soldering of such internal connection will be placed on the list
of things needing to be dealt with when the rig is opened up.
