I have a problem with my MKV for around a year now, it has been doing strange things like tuning down the band all by itself. Sometimes it will do it when you press the Notch button, other times the receiver will work fine for a hour or more before it starts tuning down the band, other times it starts ufter a few minutes. I have noticed that the audio quality seems to change at the same time. I was told that it could be down to interference from the invertor board that feeds the display tubes so I disconnected the power to the invertor but it made no differents and started tuning down the band after a while. The display was of course blank because of no power but I could still hear it tuning down the band.

 

I was wondering if anyone has had this fault or has any ideas?
