Hello Denis:

Make sure that your MOX button is not depressed to the transmit position.

Unplug your microphone from the front panel connection, and any other keying 
circuit at the rear of the radio.  Meaning, no computer control for keying, 
etc.

Power the radio on with everything unplugged, and try again.  If the MOX 
button now operates the radio, you have a short in the microphone PTT or 
other computer issue.
