HI Uwe, I have red abt your problem.
Guess you are talking abt a FT1000mkV or Field ?!
99% the fault is not in the Tuner main unit, but in the RF unit.
Did you checked if connecting the antenna at the RX-only input you receive
something ?
I have already changed in the past a couple of relays and helped someothers to change the RL1005 and other in the VRF unit. 
You can find these relais at Conrad.de, but Reichelt web shop too.
