[1000mp] PSK31 (& RTTY) on FT-1000MP

Hi Dave.
Best thing to do is to unhook the PK232 ( I still have one of those
too! ), get yourself an interface,
build a simple one, get a G4ZLP or similar, at about £50 or go the whole
hog and splash out on a
MicroHam II which is the ultimate. It's expensive, but has just about
all you need, including it's own
soundcard, a Winkeyer and transceiver CAT control, very useful for
contesting and will run FSK.
For RTTY, get MMTTY, and for PSK, Digipan or MMVARI, MixW, MultiPSK or
many others
that you can select including the decoder within the DXLab suite, a
super package.
If your laptop has a USB connector, the Microham will work with that,
depends HOW old it is!
