you should be able to use those two supplies; you would have to figure  
out how to wire them to the rear panel molex power connector but that  
should not be too difficult.    If you are concerned about this it  
might be a good idea to get a voltmeter and use it to see what  
voltages are where on the yaesu supply's pins at the end of the power  
cable, while your FP28 is working.   Make a pinout diagram, and file  
it away.  Then if you ever have to wire up an aftermarket supply, it  
will be a no-brainer.
