[1000mp] FT1000MP vox/mox problem

A friend of mine, E77K, was tuning a 40m inverted V antenna and had a
problem with RF feedback (continuous tx) from time to time although he was
barefoot. The radio was not grounded and his antennas are on the tower
mounted on the roof, just above his shack. When he put the amp (500w) on,
after some time the amp protection put it on stand by. After reseting the
amp he can not any longer use VOX/MOX on 1000MP to put the TX on, although
when using an internal tuner, there is normal output, so PA is ok. It seems
like a VOX/MOX relay problem. As I am in Italy right now all I can do to
help is to post this on his behalf. If anybody had similar problem or can
help please eMail your responses to me. I do not have tech manual to locate
vox/mox relay.
