[1000mp] Split operation?

I have what is probably a "stupid question" in regards to
the 1000MP; I've looked over my user's manual but did
not see it discussed in the manual.

Is there a way of setting up the 1000MP for split operation
so that "VFO A" can be used for transmitting and "VFO B"
can be used for receiving (the opposite of what is normally
used, as when trying to work a DX operation that is using
split operation)?

I have an older 1000MP and was wondering about this.
