[1000mp] Mark V turn-on, power-up issue

Thanks Mike. Before I dismantled the radio, I did check operation of
the power switch (front panel) with my ohm meter (no FP-29 cable
connected, radio OFF of course). In that continuity test, activating
the switch maybe 25 times, the switch passed with flying
colors. However, 'nothing is for sure' and I will take your
suggestion at the right time, and try again to rule out the switch as
possible culprit.
