[1000mp] 1000mp mk V ptt problem

I previously sent a note to the group about a 1000MP Mk V that just would not key.  Well we transported it in a car for 1 mile, set it up and it all worked perfectly and would not fail again.  I could key it from the back, from the front and also from the serial port. 

Another person told me they had a similar problem and the ptt problem was solved by keying the rig through the serial port once and then it worked on the mic ptt after that.  

So maybe it is like a crying baby - you have to give it a car ride in order to stop it from crying. 

A bit of magic in today's electronics.
