[1000mp] PK232 Using Packet Connector with FT-1000MP MarkV

Gentlemen,  I have always used my PK 232 successfully coupled  with  the MFJ 
Microphone/TNS switch.  Now I have a packet cable  between the Mark V and the 
PK 232.  Receive is all modes perfectly but  cannot transmit.  Any ideas??
