Thanks for all the input on the Field including the S/N info.  On the filter 
selection,  I agree and I like the old MP better but don't think I have ever 
taken advantage of it so I probably won't miss it.  My decision to move up 
is looking at the Sherwood and W8JI evaluations of radios.  JI put the Field 
without the Inrad roofing filter a little higher on the scale rating.  I am 
using the Inrad roofing filter in the old MP I have now and it sounds good 
but that is not scientific.   73 Mike K4PI
