Hello Again Brian:

Glad to hear that you have the problem sorted out.

There is a battery in the Mark V which will hold the memory and all your
settings.   As long as that battery is A okay, then nothing will be lost by
unplugging the radio.

If something is lost when you unplug, then time for a new battery.
