Hi George,

Now that you've got 2 instances of MMTTY working it's only a few settings to
get N1MM Logger to do the same. You just have to point to the 2 MMTTY
instances in the config, FSK ports (if you're going that way) and a couple
of others in the Digital window setup.

And as you said, it comes in real handy chasing rare DX to be able to see
both your RX and your TX at the same time. And of course you can do SO2V
RTTY in contests. RTTY is a slow mode in contests, SO2V speed things up a
bit. Keeps you away. . . Almost.

I got my dual RX RTTY working tonight. I should have done it sooner - it
might have saved me a few minutes when I worked the VU7 this morning.

In my setup I'm not running N1MM, just two instances of MMTTY. Under
Options->Setup->Misc->Source I chose Left for one instance and Right for
Options->Setup->Misc->the
other. I did not have to change any menu settings on the 1000MP.

I couldn't find any RTTY on the air so a friend across town got on 10M with
me. I had one receiver at 28.080 and the other at 28.090. It was very cool
to see his print change windows when he swapped frequencies.

One bit of audio weirdness really confused me at first. His signal was S9+20
on both receivers, but sounded bad on the Main RX but good on the Sub RX. I
started thinking my radio had a problem until I realized what was happening.

When listening to the Main RX I was hearing his signal through a 500 Hz
filter plus the broad noise from the Sub RX. Hence, a lot of noise above and
below the RTTY tones.

When listening to the Sub RX I was hearing the his signal plus only the
narrow band noise from the Main RX so the tones pretty well covered up the
noise.

Drop me a line if I can answer any other questions about the setup.
