You are wrong. If you have doubts, check the archives and count the proportion of non-informative emails. I did. 

Yes, I understand that noone pays for volume anymore EXCEPT QTH.NET! It takes a lot of bandwidth to broadcast the unnecessary BS as well as lots of storage place to keep them in the archives. One way of contributing to this free service would be not to waste its resources.
