[1000mp] FTV-1000 transmit lock

Dear MP and Mark V users,

I recently obtained an FTV-1000 to go with my Mark V, as I enjoy the "Magic Band" quite a bit.  Finally had an opportunity to try it out today, and when I transmit on CW or FM mode, I notice that the transver locks in transmission, and I have to turn the unit off to get it to stop transmitting.  This phenomenon does not occur in SSB or AM.  Has anyone else noticed this particular phenomenon, and if so, how does one eliminate this particular phenomenon?  Any thoughts and/or comments are quite welcome.  Thanks!
