Hi Adam,

I would very much like to get that English language summary too.  On the
face of it, sticking in a narrower roofing filter would seem to be a good
thing, but as is often the case, the devil is in the details.  

I'm in the same boat as Dave W4DN.  I ordered one over a year ago and have
yet to install it.  So far I've seen testimonials as to its effectiveness in
actual use, but no explanation of the discrepancy in test results.  I
generally only operate CW so naturally am interested in its performance WRT
CW.

I generally find clix produced by poor keying waveform in other radios to be
more of a problem than RX performance.  On TX I've done the W8JI key clix
mods and menu adjustments to my MkV to good effect.  On RX, I've done the
very simple NB mod.  So far the radio works VY FB so I haven't been overly
motivated to install the new roofing filter. My reference rig is a K2.

To install or not to install, that is the question. Maybe I'll try to
concoct some half-baked test and see what happens.
