Hi Chuck,
Plugs are not standard here in the US for 220-240 volt lines. It is a 3 prong plug Mine looks like a standard US 110 volt plug with one of the flat pins turned sideways.
BTW the switch is in plain sight once you remove the coverw. I can't remember if it's on top or bottom. You have to remove the top cover to remove the bottom (yea if you struggle you could pry off the bottom cover without removing the top, but I don't recommend it) so remove the top cover. If you don't see the switch, flip it over and remove the bottom cover. If I were to guess I'd say the switch is on the bottom.
