[1000mp] XMIT 500KHZ?

I don't know about the tx, but if you could manage a decent antenna, 
that band would have one heck of a groundwave.    If you look at 
groundwave studies for the AM broadcast band, where other variables are 
controlled, the g/w field strength down at the bottom of the band is 
about 3-4 times what it is at the top.  decent antenna is the 
catch--even a 45 degree vertical would be well over 200 feet tall.
