Hi everybody,
as mentioned in one of my last messages, I got my Mk-V Field only a few
weeks ago. Right now, it has optional filters from INRAD with 2.0kHz, 500Hz
and 1.0kHz in the 2nd as well as in the 3rd IF. I want to change the 1.0kHz
Filters against 250Hz in the near future because I do 100% CW. I also want
to provide the optional 500Hz Filter for the Sub-RX because IMHO having both
RX-signals on my ears is one of the ultimate features of this TRX in
pile-ups with split traffic.
Thus far the description of my situation, now my question. I have the
feeling, that right now, I'm not capable of getting out the most of the RX.
I have to say, that before the FT-1000, I worked with a Drake-line, which
was much simpler to handle. The descriptions in the Yaesu user manual are
very short and of little help.
Does anybody know about a documentation in the WEB, like "How to get the
most out of my FT-1000"? Any hints appreciated, thanks for your comments,
