[1000mp] 1000mp CAT dead

Hi,
I'm also a victim, my CAT died after some RF feedback in the shack and as
the previous guy's I had to replace the max232 chip on my FT1000MP Mark V
Field.
It is quit easy to do but also pay some attention to the electrolyte
capacitors some of them are pretty close to the max232 pins.
The board is easy accessible and the Max is located about ½" or 15mm from
the SUB D connector.

I can advise to use a interface who has 100% galvanic separation! From the
PC or more or less all devices who are outside the rig.
