It was the software - Logger 32 that was the problem. They have a drop down
menu to configure the radiointerface and they used default 9600 and 1 stop
bit, when in fact it should have been 4800 and the stop bit should be 2.
Once I changed that it worked fine and connected
I found one other problem with the logging window. If you shut it down and
then bring it back up, You lose the connection What I had to do in the
logger 32 program was to close the port and then re-open it.
Strange program for sure, but it's free. I think I'll stick to my Win-EQF
program, since no problems interfacing with it.
I have tried TRX manager and had no problems with it. That's surely strange.
