Jim is quite right.  As far as transmitters go, the MP has a reputation
of being the worst click generator of all radios on CW.  Yaesu finally
alleviated this problem somewhat, but their fix is still not as good as
W8JI's.

The 756Pro, Pro2 and Pro3 also are bad click generators (although not as
bad as the unmodified MP) unless the user has changed the CW rise time in
the menu from the default 4 ms to 8 ms.
