Easy, the competition.  Ask anyone who competes...whether it is Indy 500 or 
amateur bowling, the thrill of the competition and the excitement of pushing 
yourself a little further and bettering your skills a little more than the last 
time you competed.  

Contesting is like trying to work DXCC in a weekend on a single band or 
trying to work WAS in a weekend.  Contesting is an adrenaline rush of communicating 
with 250 guys in one hour.  

Some guys love it as I do and even more.  Some guys don't.
