This very much depends on which demodulator is used in the Mark V
and what filter/DSP settings are used in the 756 Pro series.  If one
"cranks in" al the possible skirt selectivity and noise reduction in
the Pro to match the selectivity of the Mark V crystal filters, the
Pro will have a much rougher, mechanical sound to its audio (as also
noted by PA1HR).  If the analog demodulator of the Mark V is used,
it has a much softer, more "human" sound than the Pro at normal
selectivity settings.  In order to approach the "quality" of the
Mark V analog demodulator, the Pro must use very broad filter skirts
and very little DSP.
