[1000mp] FT-1000 with Heil PR-40

The 'MP is a finer radio, but I favor the 'd, because it has a full diversity receiver
and the station has a wire at Ø - 180 degrees and another at 90 - 270 degrees
so I can pick up different parts of the wavefront and fill in on atmospheric
dropouts.

Just out of curiosity with the 1000D and the 1000mp side by side how do they
compare?
Thanks for taking the time.
Best Regards
Dave

Hello,

At this moment I use the FT-1000D and the FT-1000MP Mark-V Field, together
with the Heil Goldline Presentation.

I am however very interested in the Heil PR-40. Who has some experience with
this microphone and can give me a review, in combination with the 1000D or
Field.

The audio response of the PR-40 is 28 till 18,000 Hz. Would this be a bit
too wide for normal SSB purposes?

Many thanks in advance!
