hi,

Some of you who have the schematics can probably tell how important is the capacitor C9005 in MP circuit. It is right where the mains enters and it just blew in my rig. 

What I did is I joined the neutral and ground in the shack and when I connected MP this cap exploded completely. Is this normal? Anyway, once it was removed the rig is working again.

Is the cap needed? What is it's purpose? Should I replace it?
